Significant additions to the Vision range of digital products were announced recently. The launch event, held in Northampton, also featured indoor Karting to reward Solutions Group staff involved with the product range throughout the last year.

Managing Director, Mr Grant Lester, explained why staff from all Depots were involved with the launch of these new Vision products. "We are proud of our innovative and high-quality staff. Anyone involved in the early stages of a product launch tend to become enthusiastic and pass that enthusiasm onto others. That’s why we make sure that staff receive training before new products become available.”

The morning began with an informative talk on aerial technology and bench-marking requirements, particularly where related to Digital Terrestrial Television. Product Manager, Mr Richard Stallworthy, highlighted important features of the Vision range, such as the adoption of high quality F Connections, IP53 weatherproofing on outdoor devices and integrated screening from unwanted signal interference. Particular interest was generated in new products including easy-to-carry interlocking steel masts, four and five-way Mast Head Amplifiers, high quality mast brackets and an industry leading Power Amplifier for communal distribution systems.

The launch event then finished with a two hour indoor Kart race, known as Formula Vision 2002. This was typified by "friendly" competition, twists & turns and "Le Mans" style driver changes.
