Solutions Group (UK) Plc is pleased to announce the move of the National Headquarters from Crow Lane to Brackmills

To improve speed of service & depth of stocks available for the customers, we have moved the National Headquarters, Northampton Trade Counter & Warehouse to new & bigger premises!

The new building is just 10 minutes from the previous location in Crow Lane. It can be found on Brackmills Industrial Estate, also off the A45, and close to junction 15 of the M1.The new headquarters houses a new trade counter, offers substantially more parking and loading space for visiting customers, has a huge stock holding capacity and features a vastly improved loading bay for larger deliveries and collections.

The Staff at Solutions Group Northampton are all pleased with the new building and agree that they have benefited by the move as they have more space, better facilities and can fully meet the needs & wants of their customers.

Managing Director Grant Lester, is delighted with the new building and is keen to make it more comfortable for both the staff & customers. NAVISION
Solutions Group (UK) Plc has installed a new computer system as the previous system, Sage Line 100, was not coping well with the day -to -day business demands that were placed upon it.

The company decided to work alongside University College Northampton to investigate the company's operating procedures and then find a suitable computer system that could handle the current and future demands of the company. The software also had to be a user friendly & simple database that can be adapted to meet the needs and wants of all departments involved including Logistics, Purchasing, Accounts, Sales, Marketing and Customer Services.

After two years of meetings & discussions, Gary Sherlock, IT Systems Analyst, and the project team, decided that Navision was the most appropriate system for Solutions Group. This investment represented a spend of nearly half a million pounds!

Navision Attain is software that is owned by Microsoft and provides simple solutions for the day to day running of the company. It enables it to be an easy application process which is smart and consistent and “easy to learn, easy to use and is easy to build on”!

The software provides greater flexibility and provides simple solutions because it is so easy to use, easy to upgrade and easy to learn and modify.
